Compassion in World Farming
Maybrook sponsored the ‘Stop The Machine’ Campaign launch at the Natural History Museum. Compassion in World Farming seek to end all factory farming practices. The Pop – Up campaign high lights the cruelty that intensive farming inflicts on farm animals, and the resulting damage to our soil, our wildlife and our planet. 70 billion animals are raised for food each year, two out of three being factory farmed, at a huge cost to the animal, the environment, to our health and to our planet
Home Start Guildford
Raising the next generation is important to Maybrook and we are regular supporters of Home Start Guildford, a charity which helps families needing support during difficult periods of the lives.
We are committed to doing our part in limiting carbon emissions from our buildings. We intend to generate clean electricity with photo voltaic cells whenever possible. To install LED lighting and ensuring our insulation is of the best standard wherever possible. We intend to expand and improve on the above together with keeping abreast of the latest innovations in building techniques that can be applied to protect the world we live in. Maybrook Properties is promoting ‘green’ energy within its portfolio: solar panel installations are proposed at Bath and Send, Surrey. These works will ensure none of the properties in the portfolio will have an EPC rating below D.
